Ambassador Margaret .M. Otteskov together with her team from the Uganda Embassy Copenhagen, hosted a group of Danish tour operators on the 11th, March 2025, at her Chancery for an inspirational session on promoting #Destination Uganda.
Her Excellence welcomed the team and shared insights on what makes Uganda a tourist destination that holds fresh waters, Chimpanzee trekking, the good weather and different cultures and cuisines.

The Embassy of Uganda in Denmark, led by Ambassador Margret Otteskov, is proudly showcasing Uganda’s vibrant tourism sector at the Danish Travel Show in Herning, Scandinavia’s largest tourism fair. The event, running from February 21-23, 2025, provides a platform for Uganda to promote its world-class wildlife, adventure tourism, and rich cultural heritage to Danish and Nordic travelers.

As part of EU/Uganda Business Forum 13th February 2025, Ambassador Jan Sadek the Ambassador of the EU to Uganda led a delegation of investors together with some of the EU Heads of Missions to Uganda and Ugandan Ambassadors to EU who visited H.E. Y. Kaguta Museveni the President of of the Republic of Uganda.

H.E. Margaret Otteskov,held am meeting with Ambassador Andrejs Pildegovics the Permanent Representative of Latvia to United Nations. The two leaders discussed matters of peace, economy, environment and sports in Uganda and as well as Africa.
